— The LORD is long­suf­fer­ing, and of great mer­cy, for­giv­ing in­iq­ui­ty and trans­gres­sion, and by no means clear­ing the guilty, vis­it­ing the in­iq­ui­ty of the fa­thers upon the chil­dren unto the third and fourth generation.
