— Now there­fore go to, pro­claim in the ears of the peo­ple, say­ing, Whoso­ev­er is fear­ful and afraid, let him re­turn and de­part ear­ly from mount Gilead. And there re­turned of the peo­ple twen­ty and two thou­sand; and there re­mained ten thou­sand.
