Where­fore, O king, let my coun­sel be ac­cept­able unto thee, and break off thy sins by righ­teous­ness, and thine in­iq­ui­ties by shew­ing mer­cy to the poor; if it may be a length­en­ing of thy tran­quil­li­ty.
