But if the min­is­tra­tion of death, writ­ten and en­graven in stones, was glo­ri­ous, so that the chil­dren of Is­rael could not sted­fast­ly be­hold the face of Moses for the glo­ry of his coun­te­nance; which glory was to be done away:
