— The Lord was as an en­e­my: he hath swal­lowed up Is­rael, he hath swal­lowed up all her palaces: he hath de­stroyed his strong holds, and hath in­creased in the daugh­ter of Ju­dah mourn­ing and lamen­ta­tion.
